i payed 14.99 for 5 crappy cources???? what a hunk of crap, i iphone version has 23 cources for less money. what a ripoff!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wont load quickly. Have to leave it on my screen for 5 min for it to "warm up". Adds missed strokes on its own for some reason? The added player gets in the way of putts especialy. Very annonying. Unless changes are made i would not recommend this game. PS I really liked the first version. No gliches.

Come out swinging. This VR game actually has the look and feel of a real round of golf. Get a grip while weather conditions change to provide more of a challenge, and, sound effects enliven the experience. No need to be teed off as there is a choice of seasons and that can be a real slice when there is no way to get out onto an actual course. Fun for the whole family or play against your friends. BTW dont bogey unless you love the sound of guys laughing, however, the applause for an Eagle is a real plus, and, the agonized groan of the crowd when an impossibly near miss occurs is a great comfort. NOTE: for MAC users the new Hobo Canyon course seems to only work with Lion.

I’ve been playing GL Golf pretty much since it came out, and find it wonderfully addicting. The latest version continues to add courses and a feature here or there. I’ve played other golf games that were more complex and maybe a bit more realistic, but I keep coming back to this one. It’s simple, challenging and…as I said, addicting.

Best golf game for the Mac, tons of courses and replayability! Definitely recommneded!!

Most golf games Ive played can be placed in one of two categories, "Complexly Realistic" and "Cartoony Simple." GL Golf sits somewhere in the middle, providing just enough realism to be challenging and just enough simplicity to be addictive. I enjoyed it for the iPhone. I enjoy it for the desktop. Maybe youll enjoy it too.

mechanics and sounds are great, graphics is cool - it is simple, but has nice resolution and a lot of preferences to customize. lots of additional courses are available for purchase from developer. The game supports up to 4 players, has 6 courses (in this 15 bucks version), 3 levels of difficulty and many other cool features. there is a demo at the website so you can try before buy. developers support for this game is very good too. so overall if you like golf games - this is a must buy.

While its not Tiger Woods 2025, the physics are pretty good and the courses keep it interesting. Despite being a shareware title, its a pretty competent little golf game.

Ive seen better graphics on my old Commadore 64 and my cell phone. Sad.

Ive played about 20 times on the 6 courses. The balls flight, roll and sounds are all enjoyable; and the degrees of customization and difficulty create a challenge that keeps me coming back. Compared to Tiger 11 on my Touch (and I suspect on an iPad), this is way more fun to play, not even close. I had a font rendering problem on the "info" screen and Jake responded right away with a Snow Leopard font update recommendation that fixed it. Id give it a 5 if it had better graphics, but, hey, its $15. Im hooked.

The most redicules, amateurish, terrible program I have ever seen. Big mistake buying this.

You may have fix crashe for Mac OS 10.6.8, but it still crashes on Mac OS 10.7.1. Love the game but I have not received the in app course packs purchased. Would be a 5 star if these issues can be resolved.

Played the free version, thought the graphics were 1995 crappy but still a fun little game to get my golf fix. Paid for the full $15 version, fully knowing that it came with a limited number of courses, and more courses would be extra. Didnt know that to get blue/green tees and alternate hole placements you have to pay another $5 for the "tee/hole" add one. Cmon, guys. The graphics are beyond cheese, the 3D engine is weak (see what happens on a funky lie), and the music, well, I cant believe you actually credit the guy that did the music. And, though it doesnt really matter to game play, having at least the option of a female avatar would be in good taste. This is the 21st century after all, and this game is far from it. My advice? Go putt some balls in the living room, and hit some chips in the backyard. It will be more realistic, improve your game, and wont waste your money.

Played the free version, then purchased the $15 package. Graphics are a bit primitive, a few tech glitches here and there, but nothing that affects play. Would be nice if the players in a foursome could at least have different colored shirts or something other than just a different colored ball. Still, all in all, a very good game, entertaining, comfortably addictive. Actually, Id give it 4-1/2 stars.

This is still my favorite golf game to play, I choose this over tiger woods golf games usually. It does lack on graphics and the putt slope dots are distracting now but it is still my favorite golf game. Hobo canyon is my new favorte course to play

Not realistic. Unable to control club face (open/close), hight of ball flight and etc… Not worth the money in my opinion.

Enjoyable to play. Graphics are good but not great. For the price, a good entertainment bargain.
